This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning and Assessment Manager with a background in Finance and Accounting. You will join one of Australia’s oldest and largest distance learning institutions in their largest faculty of Business, Finance and Accounting. With extensive plans for growth this role will commence as a 2 day a week position with the opportunity for full time in the future. 
 
You will be working with an experienced team of passionate education professionals with extensive experience in the management of distance learning across a broad range of subject areas. You will be responsible for the development of learning strategies, recruitment and management of a team of Trainers and Assessors, the validation and moderation of assessments and management of the students learning support.  
 
This is your opportunity to have a direct impact on the quality of students experience, student retention and completion, and student satisfaction with their learning experience. 
 
Further responsibilities will include  
 
  • Ensure assessments meet industry and national training package requirements  
  • Undertake assessment validation and moderation  
  • Manage systematic course review  
  • Provide input into course design and content improvements  
  • Ensure the Student Portal has relevant, up to date and engaging content  
  • Ensure Students receive timely and accurate feedback on assessments  
  
You will have   
 
  • Qualifications in Finance or Accounting and Training and Assessment  
  • Experience in Business, Finance and Accounting sectors  
  • Experience in vocational course design and course management  
  • Experience in distance, flexible or online learning  
  • Detail knowledge of AQTF2010 and other relevant accreditation schemes  
  • Strong communication skills with high level presentation and training skills
