Our client, the leading supplier of heavy duty diesel engines and Allison Automatic Transmissions are seeking a suitably qualified Trainer to become part of the most dynamic, professionalengine / Transmission Company in Australia.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the position will include;

As the Eastern Region Trainer you will use set modules and training packages to train staff in relation to Diesel engines for trucks.

You will be instrumental in the Management of the Apprentice Training Programacross the business for the eastern region. Whether is it to oversee apprentice internal and external training, conduct inductions, liaise with service managers or to maintain records as required.

You will also conduct Other training projects as directed by the Training Manager
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;
-
Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience in heavy vehicle maintenance.

Excellent understanding of diesel engines, their operating systems, servicing and maintenance requirements.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to undertake qualification

Understanding of apprenticeship schemes within NSW
-
Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills
-
Be a highly motivated team player.

Sound organisational and problem solving skills.

Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills
