Our client is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead and manage this successful catering company. The events range from 30 to 300 pax for corporate functions, meetings, formal dinners, cocktail events and social gatherings. As the Head Chef you will have full autonomy over the functions kitchen including menu design costing and implementation, management of staff, all HACCP requirements and kitchen financials. Your experience in developing rapport with suppliers and contractors will equip you with the neccessary skills to provide the best food to your clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: - Extensive catering / functions experience in high end establishments
- Experience in creating and developing menus
- Extensive experience in ordering for large volume of products
- Strong knowledge of food costing and kitchen financials
- Competency managing HACCP reuquirements
- Enthusiasm and motivation to excel in the culinary profession
- Highly organised and consistent in your position
- Open to support and working effectively within the team
- A hands on leadership style
