Our client is currently seeking a Business Analyst to support the integration of an acquired business.
The organization is an industry leader with exciting expansion projects and an excellent logistics program.  You will have ongoing project work within this rapidly expanding and international Iron Ore organisation.

This is a program of work set up to integrate the acquisition into the business. The Business Analyst will report to a Project Manager within the Integration program.

The role will include the following core accountabilities:
• Work with the Project Manager, Program Manager, key business stakeholders and Service Suppliers, to deliver:
    o Key Activities:
         Business Requirements Gathering
         Evaluating, documenting and progressing business initiatives
         Engagement with key business stakeholders at all levels
         Provide regular updates on progress of activities
         Assist in:
            • Creation of High-Level Business Requirements
            • Creation of detailed Business Requirements
            • Run workshops, gather requirements from stakeholders
            • Development of the Enterprise Architecture 
            • Definition of Solution Architecture
            • Contribute to definition of Project Plans
            • Contribute to definition of Test Plans
            • IM delivery (Strategy to Projects to Ongoing Support) across the full lifecycle on behalf of the Business
            • Change management, including communications
             
The person/s that will do this role has the following attributes/skills:
    • At least 10 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organisation, or working on large, complex projects.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to quickly build customer relationships 
    • Comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Success in facilitating and managing conflicting IT requirements
    • Good understanding of the delivery of infrastructure and application services in a large complex environment
    • Tertiary qualification, preferably in IT, or equivalent IT industry experience
    • Knowledge of iron ore mining will be a definite advantage in one of these roles
