An exceptional opportunity exists for a talented and committed Technical Engineer to join our dedicated and customer focused Network Operations Centre (NOC) team in Adelaide. As a member of the NOC your key responsibilities will be to provide support in the investigation and resolution of reported incidents, change requests and service requests from our blue chip customers. In doing so, you will ensure that compliance with SLAs for customer inquiry handling and escalation management, whilst ensuring appropriate customer contact is maintained to manage expectations and requirements through the incident resolution process. Depending on your area of strength, you will manage changes and problems in relation to either MS Windows Server Environments or Unix/Linux Server Environments managed by Hostworks. This includes service management for services within the Windows, Linux/Unix services group and participation in projects involving MS server technologies. You will participate in the performance management and optimisation of MS server technologies, as well as availability and capacity management, whilst you assist in implementing procedures for monitoring, backup and recovery of project consulting. Reporting to the NOC Shift Leader, your demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Microsoft and Linux Operating systems will be highly regarded, as will your familiarity with 2000/2003 Servers.
