We are currently seeking a Senior Life Insurance Claims Administrator on behalf of a large financial services firm who specialize in administration of superannuation and pension funds, business process outsourcing, and financial advisory amongst many other functions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Administration of a portfolio of Death, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection claims (up to 60 claims)
Processing new membership insurance eligibility
Dealing with member enquiries regarding insurance entitlements
Processing benefit payments
Pre-assessment of claims including liaising with life insurers, members, employers, doctors, lawyers etc
Ensuring compliance is adhered to the highest of standards according to legislation and regulation requirements
The successful candidate:
Atleast 18 months experience in Superannuation (Insurance or Fund Administration)
Experience of processing benefits payments
An inquisitive mind in regards to individual claims and the claims process
RG146 (Superannuation) desirable but not essential
Excellent customer service skills with strong work ethic
