Our client is a leading insurer and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic insurance professional to join their busy commercial underwriting team. This is a chance to further develop your underwriting skills in commercial products and learn from experienced senior staff. Ongoing training and support will be provided and there will be excellent long-term progression opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Underwriting renewals and endorsements using an online quotation system as well as manually
- Managing a high volume SME commercial portfolio
- Maintaining a high client retention rate
- Providing exceptional service to brokers and clients
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure best outcome
You will have:
- Minimum of 2 years insurance experience in an underwriting role, broking experience will also be considered
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Outgoing and confident personality
- Experience with Sunrise will be highly regarded
