Our client is a well established underwriting agency looking to recruit a Junior Underwriter to join their busy team.
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be underwriting a range of property risks including new business and renewals. You will also be checking premiums, preparing letters and policy schedules as well as liaising with brokers and other intermediaries in your role.
You will ideally have:
At least 2 years experience in an Underwriting Assistant role, ideally with exposure to commercial property insurance
Exceptional communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Highly developed organisational skills
An outgoing and enthusiastic personality
You will receive training from experienced senior team members. As this is a fairly autonomous role, it is a great opportunity for you to learn more about underwriting and gain exposure to different lines of corporate insurance.
