A unique and exciting role has arisen within one of Australias leading insurance groups. Working in the Sydney CBD, we are ideally looking for an Underwriter who has proven experience and success within the property ISR market in developing a mid market property portfolio, including mid to high hazard risks with ASX listed clients.
The Role
Underwriting a portfolio of ISR including some broad form liability
Building and maintain successful relationships with brokers and intermediaries
Supporting implementation of business strategy and profitable growth
Acting as a technical referral point for underwriting complex risks
Delivering on current pricing strategy within the corporate market
Risk Management and Quality Control
The Candidate
At least 3 - 5 years underwriting experience within a property environment
Ability to demonstrate a very high level of technical knowledge of ISR in the mid market - corporate property sector
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as ability to influence at a senior level
Team player attitude, highly motivated and embraces change.
Strong problem solving, analytical and judgment skills
