Our large mining giant requires the services of a HSE Advisor to coordinate and prioritise the development, maintenance and implementation of HSE documentation and systems.
In this position you will assist in successfully rewriting policy and procedures into clear and concise documents across the group. You will have the ability to extract and translate technical information into a language and style appropriate to the target audiences.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and review of HSE policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.

Coordinate the development and review of HSE documents and management systems.

Coordinate the rollout of HSE documents and management systems.

Participate in task and risk analysis reviews and auditing.

Liaise within the Ausdrill Group and HSE Team to ensure standards and legislative requirements are complied with.
The successful candidate will need to possess the following:
-
Diploma in OHS
-
Three years experience as a safety practitioner
-
High developed research skills
-
Highly developed writing, proof reading and document formatting
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
-
Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
-
Strong time management and organisational skills
-
Drilling Industry experience will be highly regarded

Certificate IV TAE (preferred)
-
HSE auditing and investigation skills (preferred)
