One of Australia's leading Mining Contractors with Open Cut and Underground mine operations throughout Australia. This sit currently operates between 3.5 and 5.7Mt per annum with life of mine contract in place.

A senior position has become available for an experienced Safety Manager. You will oversee the site safety, implement the project safety management plans and work to minimise workplace incidents. You will guide the project in hazard reduction and identification, monitor risk management, system development and manage/implement the companies environmental training management plans.

To be successful you will have had experience in a similar open cut mining role, be tertiary qualified, have strong communication and organisational skills and have a strong understanding of safety systems. You will have the ability to guide and influence safety across the entire site. A competitive salary and conditions and a Monday to Friday role will be provided for the successful candidate for this site based role.
