Based in Biloela in central Queensland this is an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety professional to make a significant impact.
The primary functionalities of the role are to ensure that the Health, Safety and Security functions are managed consistently, responsibly, and effectively throughout the operations, and to provide guidance on risk management, organisation effectiveness, knowledge management and internal and external alignment processes.
Key duties include:

Co-ordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of the Health, Safety and Security management system on the Project.

Responsible for compliance monitoring of, all Health, Safety and Security aspects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems and requirements.

Manage the promotion of Health, Safety and Security awareness to all Project personnel.

Ensure the proper implementation of the HSE policies, procedures, and inductions
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate at least 7 years of HSS experience in a heavy construction environment. You will have strong technical skills and audit experience and be an excellent communicator capable of organising and working with a diverse workforce.
