One of Australia’s leading mining service companies is offering an excellent opportunity for several experienced Senior Drill and Blast Engineers to work at one of their key sites. This is an exciting time to join the organization as they take fully coverage in a newly established iron ore mine. You will report to the Drill and Blast Superintendent, and will be part of an integral member of the team.

The key focus of this role is the coordination of all technical aspects of open pit drill and blast activities including the development of drill and blast designs that meet safety, economic and
geological operational parameters.

This is a fly in fly out role (which could be from different locations) with a highly appealing 8/6 roster offering a healthy work/life balance and includes fantastic on site living facilities.

You will have a recognised qualification in an engineering discipline and have previous experience in drill and blast operations, ideally within an open cut mining operation. You will also assist
in developing improvements for drilling & blasting methods.
