A well developed Civil & Mining ASX Listed company is looking to restructure and expand operations and as a result are looking for multiple Civil and Mining Estimators. They are looking for a Permanent team member looking to help expand workload and win tenders successfully. You will be tendering for but not limited to large scale Civil works and Mining Operations tenders involving large interaction with clients and EPCM’s. The ideal candidate will have Tertiary Qualifications in Mining/Civil discipline or equivalent. They will also posses Management training and experience in a similar estimating role. You will be based in the Belmont office with some site expectations at early tendering stages. You will be responsible for but not limited to: • Accurate and timely project costs in accordance to technical standards • Contribute to the development and technical operational estimating policies and procedures in accordance to the ISO accreditation system • Report to management on the effectiveness and suitability of the Clients Systems, including compliance with relevant objectives and targets • Contribute to feasibility studies in major projects to ensure all technical factors have been correctly assessed • Support Mine site managers with clear and concise documentation at contract commencement • Make tender amendments where applicable utilising client feedback on submitted tender • Co-Ordinate and conduct “Handover” meeting with the project team providing detailed briefing of the tender requirements • As necessary provide support and respond to tender queries made by Project team Personnel This client prides in promoting Indigenous Australian Participation and Cultural awareness as a vital and integral part of both the client’s core Aims & Values and the value this represents to the individuals, the market place and the economy as a whole.
