They presently require the services of an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager with a strong background in Contract and Claims Management to work on a major Energy Construction Project. This role will be based out of our client's North Ryde office.
Position Accountabilities (but not limited to):
* Commercial and Financial Analysis of multiple projects.
* Management of Commercial and Contractual matters.
* Financial Management against Project Deliverables.
* Project Cost Control and Financial Project reporting.
* Supervision of all Commercial Activities on Site.
* Interface with Business Managers across Australia.
* Identification of Claims and Variations.
* High level contract negotiation and advice.
* Risk and opportunity management.
The successful candidate MUST have:
* Min 8-10 yrs Commercial Management experience within an Engineering / EPCM environment.
* Demonstrated project experience within the Power, Construction and/or Resource Sectors.
* Knowledge in power construction practices highly regarded.
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency.
