This high-level position within our valued Technical Services Department is your chance to take accountability for the engineering systems across our Lytton refinery. Taking on software contracts, changes to process controls and alarms, and overall systems strategy, your core focus will be to ensure that our refinery is running at an optimal level.
Your established leadership skills will see your team safely achieving ambitious technical targets through positive performance management and personal and technical development. You will also utilise your capacity for strategic thinking and your sound understanding of Distribution Control Systems (DCS) as you undertake the ongoing review and strategic development of systems and third party software applications.
Come to us with a tertiary degree in chemical, electrical, process control or computer systems engineering and a detailed understanding of IT systems. Demonstrated leadership skills will be essential, as will proven success in technical strategic planning, problem solving and decision making. Detailed process control experience on a DCS (preferably Honeywell), encompassing both design and operation, will also be key.
