The Project

A leading global energy client is currently delivering a major Coal Seam Gas to Liquefied Natural Gas project. The scale of this project is such that it has created the requirement for 18 procurement staff to start by mid March. The positions are available at various levels, working in the vibrant Brisbane office playing a major part in this landmark project.

Positions Available

13 – 14 positions are available for Procurement Officers with 2/3 years experience $36 - $41 Hour + Super
4 – 5 positions are available for Procurement Officers with 4/5 years  experience $42 $47 Hour + Super

Responsibilities will include

-  Ensure that company policies and processes are adhered to and aligning the procurement function to the business
-  Procurement processing and low buying indirect and consumable items
-  Management of purchase orders and materials requirements
-  Knowledge in contract administration, tender reviewing and project management skills
-  Determining cost saving opportunity and identifying vendor risk
-  Ongoing communication with stakeholders, vendors and suppliers ensuring exceptional service delivery
-  Source and manage company preferred suppliers and negotiation of competitive terms
-  Generation of reports

To be successful in this role you will have

-  Experience in a similar role preferable in mining, oil & gas or similar
-  Proficiency in the use of SAP
-  Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships

-  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
-  Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

These are contract roles available to PAYG or Incorporated Contractors - Rates

$ 36 to $ 55 an hour.
