As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing project management expertise on a variety of major construction and technology-based programs for a leading energy distributor.
You will also prepare and oversee the preparation of project business plans, budgets, targets, reports and forecasts, as well as represent the company at forums and seminars . This will see you negotiating with a variety of stakeholders.
This is a full time permanent opportunity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Direct and manage major projects
* Lead, develop and implement defined strategies and action
* Liaise with stakeholders, including councils and Federal Government departments
* Prepare and oversee the preparation of project business plans, budgets, targets, reports and forecasts
* Represent company to economic regulators, suppliers, industry associations and Government
* Create, monitoring and controlling project KPI's
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
* Ideally tertiary degree qualified in engineering, commerce or finance
* Demonstrated experience in planning, directing and coordinating multiple complex major electricity projects
* Proven ability to develop and execute complex technical and commercial strategies
To be considered for this role, you must have at 5 years experience successfully delivering and leading major multi disciplinary and construction projects, as well as demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the energy industry and utility infrastructure.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as be able to work in a high pressure environment and meet stringent project deadlines.
