Our client is an award winning provider of innovative Engineering and Project Management Services to the global resource industry. From studies through to full project execution to operations and maintenance, our client's range of services cover all aspects of project development. They urgently require the expertise of an experienced Senior Cost Controller with 8 - 10 years experience to work on a major resource project based in Central Queensland initially with a view to further work in Brisbane Position Accountability (but not limited to): * Forecasting and cost reporting / trend analysis. * Liaising with planning resources for schedule information. * Expediting contractor payment approvals. * Assist Project with major capital estimates * Verifying and auditing cost / reimbursable contracts. * Verifying and processing of progress claim. The successful candidate WILL have: * 8 - 10 years specific Cost Controlling experience within an EPCM environment. * Proven experience within the Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Construction sectors. * Hands on experience on a range of Cost Management Systems. * Strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency. * Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need NOT apply.
