The Client This international company with headquarters overseas is a leading producer and exporter of its commodity and has its mining, processing and transport operations based in WA. They have recently embarked on plans to expand and extended the lifespan of their current operations for long into the future. They have a small to medium sized team based in the head office and on their friendly site in the mid-west. The Role This role reports directly into the mining manager and you will be working back to back swings with a mine surveyor that reports into you on an 8:6 roster. You will be accountable for the integrity of the surveying operations and will need to be able to provide efficient field support to the mining department while not compromising on safety. Day to day duties include: * Sign off on statutory surveying and plans * Provide survey control * Locate blast and exploration drill holes * Measurement of quantities of blasted materials Criteria for this role: * Tertiary qualifications * Grade 2 authorisation * O/P experience * 5 Years plus experience as a surveyor If successful in this role a strong package can be negotiated (circa $130k), relaxed a friendly team environment and on-going personal development programs.
