Main Objectives/Responsibilities:
Prerequisites:
Qualified indentured Tradesperson in Mechanical Discipline.
Experience in welding procedures.
Experience in Pneumatic, Hydraulic and PLC controlled systems.
Previous experience in a supervising position within a multi disciplined maintenance environment.
Knowledge and understanding of OH & S and Environmental policies.
Position Role:
To assist in the Supervision of a small team of tradespersons and allocation of tasks as directed by the Plant Engineering Manager.
In conjunction with the Plant Engineering Manager, prioritise maintenance work apportioned to the maintenance tradespersons.
Assist in the identification and rectification of maintenance problems on the Equipment and Plant.
Quality:
Identify and report on Quality problems associated with the Equipment and Plant.
Assist in the instruction and training of maintenance personnel on the technical requirements of their Tasks.
